Treating Complex Cases: The Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Approach Patients with complex problems, including co-morbidity, chronic conditions, enduring vulnerabilities, psychotic conditions, persistent difficulties with social relationships and destabilizing social environments, are increasingly recognised as the reality ofthe therapist's case load.
