2009年發行的台灣中譯本《國際經濟學》源自於2008年的原文書第八版。有鑑於過去幾年的區域貿易整合、環保及全球化爭議、金融海嘯與歐債危機等重大的國際經濟事件接連發生,因而促成譯者與華泰文化再次合作,花費近一年時間重新編譯2014年發行的原文書第十版。除了針對以往的繕印缺失進行勘誤外,並加入許多有趣的全新單元與內容,新版除了強調並修正企業在國際貿易中扮演的角色,新增個案也說明美國企業境外生產對其國內失業產生的衝擊。
與舊版中譯本相比,國際貿易的內容與章節具有相當大幅度的更新。第十版再度回復第八版以前的編排方式,將原先合併討論的特定要素模型與要素稟賦 (Heckscher-Ohlin) 模型,分拆為兩個章節詳細探討,並根據近來研究結果,將要素稟賦模型的實證分析加以改寫與加入新的數據,證明近來中國貿易型態的改變符合模型的預期。新版第7章以後的內容也有很大的變革,作者將涉及規模經濟的章節與國際區位經濟、跨國企業營運進行整合,並因應跨國企業境外生產、委外代工等經濟決策對本國失業與經濟成長產生的衝擊,進行詳盡的分析與說明;作者也加入了許多新的段落與精闢案例來詮釋國際政治與經濟議題,舉凡國際政策協商的現況、亞洲新興市場國家的崛起、環保與經濟成長的取捨以及碳稅暨碳補償權交易等重要議題,均在本書討論之列。
